Well, I was just thinking wow no one updates their blogs. Then I realized I am guilty of that too.
So here is an update on us... school is going well, when I am not sick (which seems to be a challenge lately and no I am not expecting). Mike is still staying busy at work. Not that that is shocking or surprising if you ever talk to us. But there is my update;)

It is coming to an end...

Ok, before any one worries that title refers to summer. Summer has been great. I am trying to get ready for school to start, but I am very not doing well. So far I have been doing anything but thinking about school. I need to get on this school thing. This summer I have planned a camp, been to the camp, went on a shopping spree with my friend Face, celebrated Marilee's birthday, and wasted lots of time. It has been super fun. But now I need to get working on being ready for school. Mike has been plenty busy with work. Mike's birthday is tomorrow. I am excited to give him his presents. He may not be as excited as I am but it should work for his birthday.
But hey that's our life... deal with it.

SUMMER!

I feel that it is finally vacation! It has been a bit wild. I spent the first little while out of school, planning for next year with Rhiannon, Vanessa, and Arien. It was fun, but it was long and tiring. Along with the planning I have been doing physical therapy three times a week. (cross your fingers, that I will only have two days a week starting this week.) My parents are on vacation so I am trying to help fill in the gaps that that leaves. It is crazy how much she does. It is hard to try fill her shoes. But I think I am succeeding in doing the jobs I was assigned. Mike has been super busy with work. It has been warm finally so everybody is finally realizing how much work needs to be done.
Well that is our life... deal with it.

School is out... sickness... results...

School is out! YIPEE! I made it through my first year of teaching. I would give this year a 7 out of 10. Everyone who knows me well knows how I do with change (HAHA) I didn't cry at all. I was quite happy to see them leave. After school, I got to got to see the doctor about my MRI results. I have micro tears in my rheumatoid muscle. That is a muscle that goes from your scapula to your spine. I also have a bone spur in my AC joint that is putting pressure on my rotator cuff. Hooray for knowing what is wrong and why I have so much pain there. But I am going to see a physical therapist and go from there. When I got home I started getting an awful head ache. Pretty sure I am a victim of food poisoning, go me. I spent my night in the bathroom. Got up this morning dreading going to school to check out because I was not feeling good, but I went anyway. They sent me home (thank you Nathan!) I will finish tomorrow. Now that I don't think I am going to pass out and the chances of throwing up are slimmer I think life will be good.
Mike is busy with work and if the weather will cooperate he may do well. Rain is not the sprinkler/lawn care man's best friend. He has made the most beautiful bookcases. I love them. He is making a piece to go on top of them for more shelving and display space. They are gorgeous and made of cherry.

That's our life... Deal with it.

So Close I Can Almost Taste It

School is almost over the year. One week, I only get/have to teach my class for four more days. Two real days, field day/party/clean, and year book day. I should have to do Friday, but unfortunately for me I get to spend Friday having MRIs of my shoulder and scapula. Hopefully it is worth it and they find out why my arm hurts all the time. Granted I have to wait until June 1 to find out what they find out from the scans.
At some point it is going to stop raining everyday so Mike can get work done. There have been a few days that Mike has gotten to work.
That's our life... Deal with it! :)

Guess What!?!

So I am pretty excited. There are four weeks left of school. This is a bittersweet feeling. I am relieved but I am sure I will miss them.
Life is good. Busy but good. Mike is busy, hopefully the weather will be nice for a while so work goes better.

Guess What!

Yesterday Mike discovered that we have a blog. Good for him! It is really funny to me. But hey since I am writing I figure I should say that it is almost my Grandpa's 90th birthday. We are having a huge birthday bash for him this weekend. I am looking forward to it.
Because Mike was just discovering our blog, I was looking back on the beginning of this blog's life. I miss New Zealand. It has been two years, it seems like just a few months ago. Oh well, someday I will make it back (mark my words).
